    The Honey Creek Beekeepers (WEB) is a program utilizing our 8th grade leaders to help welcome our new “Bees” to middle school.  The WEB program from the Boomerang Project helps build relationships among the students and staff.  WEB is an acronym for Where Everybody Belongs.

    Why WEB?

    Chess players at all levels are welcome in the Chess Club.  Members enjoy chess lessons and competitions.  A highlight is the annual Scholastic Chess Tournament.  The club meets after school on Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Chess Club will begin meeting on August 22nd.

    Library Helpers responsibilities include shelving books and other library materials, checking out materials for other students, and other tasks as needed in the library media center.  Teams of students serve during Advisory period.

    The Student Council is a group of  volunteer students working together with two adult advisors to represent student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities. It offers opportunities for student experience in leadership and encourages student, faculty, and community relations.

  • Two young individuals set up video equipment in a classroom, preparing for a broadcast project, with various supplies in the background.WBTV is a student produced news program that airs daily at 8:08 a.m.  A team of eight students rotate through all positions (Anchor 1, Anchor 2, Floor Manager, Camera Operator, Audio Technician, Chromebook Technician, TriCaster Operator, and Control Room Director to inform students and staff of events, promote activities, and celebrate successes from sports to academic competitions to Character Award winners.  Team members rotate on and off two at a time so that other students may join the WBTV team.
